| Factory | 5,000 m² in Changping, Dongguan — in-house tempering line |
Large format: for devices that are not phones
A phone protector is 150 × 70 mm. Our largest part is 600 × 400 mm — sixteen times the area.
That gap is the whole reason this page exists: if you are sourcing glass for a tablet, a payment terminal, a
self-service kiosk or a machine control panel, a phone-accessory supplier cannot help you, and an industrial
glass cutter will not touch a 500-piece run.
We do both. The same factory that runs 3,000-piece phone batches will also run 500 pieces of a
custom-size panel, because the cutting, tempering and coating lines are the same — only the fixture changes.
| Device | Typical size | What buyers usually ask for |
|---|---|---|
| Tablet | 200–330 mm diagonal | Full-glue, anti-fingerprint, private label retail box |
| POS terminal | 100–180 mm | 9H scratch resistance, anti-glare for counter lighting |
| Self-service kiosk | 250–550 mm | Anti-glare, vandal resistance, clean edges |
| Industrial HMI panel | 150–400 mm | Chemical resistance, wide temperature range |
| Smartwatch / camera | 20–50 mm | Curved edge, precise cut-outs |
What we make
We run the full range of tempered glass constructions, so a buyer can consolidate a product line with one
supplier instead of four:
- 2.5D round edge — the volume product for retail and e-commerce brands.
- 3D curved — hot-bent edges for flagship phones with curved displays.
- Full glue — full-surface adhesive, no halo, preferred for premium SKUs.
- Privacy — micro-louvre film laminated to glass, 30–45° viewing angle.
- Anti-glare (matte / AG) — etched surface, 85%+ light transmission, resists fingerprints.
- Anti-blue light — filtered coating for eye-comfort positioning.
- Ultra clear — 99% transparency for display-critical applications.
Customization options
| Parameter | Available | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Size and shape | Up to 600 × 400 mm, cut to your drawing or CAD file | Send a dimensioned drawing, or a physical part we can measure |
| Thickness | 0.18 / 0.25 / 0.33 / 0.4 mm | Thicker glass survives drops better but softens touch response |
| Tolerance | ±0.1 mm | Matters most around camera cut-outs and sensor windows |
| Edge | 2.5D polish, 3D hot bend, flat | Edge profile drives how the finished product feels in hand |
| Coating | AG / AR / AF / anti-blue / privacy | Combinations available on a single part |
| Printing | Silk-screen logo, icon frames, black borders | 1–4 colours; registration ±0.2 mm |
| Adhesive | Full glue / AB glue / frame glue | Choose by whether the device has curved edges |
| Packaging | Colour box, blister, poly bag, private label | Artwork to retail-ready box, including barcode and manual |
| Certifications | RoHS, REACH | Test reports available on request |
Three specs buyers usually get wrong
Most rework we see comes from three decisions made too early, before anyone tested a sample:
- Thickness chosen by feel, not by drop test. 0.33 mm is the default because it sells, not
because it protects. For devices used outdoors, on a shop floor or in a workshop, 0.4 mm survives better — at
the cost of a slightly duller touch response. - Edge radius too small for the housing. A tight radius looks sharp on a drawing and chips in
handling. Below roughly 0.5 mm it has to be agreed against the actual device bezel, not the drawing alone —
and at ±0.1 mm tolerance, the bezel is what governs, not the nominal size. - Coating and adhesive specified independently. AG etching and full-glue adhesive interact:
the etched surface reduces the effective bonding area. Order both together, and test them together.
How an order works
- Send your requirement. Device model, drawing or physical sample — plus target quantity and
the market you sell into. You get a costed quote in 12 hours. - DFM feedback within 24 hours. Our engineers flag what has to change before tooling: minimum
radius, wall width around holes, coating limits. New tooling takes 7 days. - Free sample in 7–10 days. You check fit, clarity and edge feel on a real device before
committing to production. - Trial order, then repeat. 500 pcs for large format, 3,000 pcs for phone-size parts.
Production runs 15–20 days after sample approval.
Quality control you can audit
Every order goes through three checks, not one:
- Incoming material check — glass thickness, flatness, scratches and bubbles on the raw sheet.
- Assembly line check — adhesion, dust, edge chipping and print registration (±0.2 mm) on the
finished part. - Pre-shipment check — AQL sampling on packed cartons, plus packaging and label verification.
Testing available on request: pencil hardness, ball drop, adhesion, salt spray on coated parts. The factory
holds RoHS and REACH compliance. If a batch fails our own check it does not ship; if a manufacturing defect reaches
you, we exchange it within five months of purchase.
Packing and shipping
Parts ship in individual poly bags or blister trays, then inner boxes and export cartons with your label. Mixed
SKUs can be packed per carton, so a first order can cover several sizes without paying for a full container.
Terms are FOB Shenzhen, with DDU available on request.
Who we supply
- Importers and wholesalers — FCL and LCL shipments, mixed SKUs per carton.
- Accessory brands — private label, retail packaging, your logo printed on the glass.
- Device makers and integrators — tablet, POS, kiosk and industrial panel glass, 500 pcs per size.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the size. Large-format parts — anything bigger than a phone, such as tablet, POS, kiosk or panel
glass — start at 500 pcs per size. Phone-size parts start at 3,000 pcs per model:
the cut, temper and coat steps cost the same per batch regardless of part size, so small parts need a bigger run to
make the setup worthwhile.
How long does sampling take, and does it cost anything?
Samples are free and ship in 7–10 days once we have your drawing or device model. If the shape needs new
tooling, add 7 days. Mass production then runs 15–20 days after you approve the sample.
What is the largest size you can produce?
600 × 400 mm, cut to drawing, with ±0.1 mm tolerance. That covers tablets, POS terminals, self-service kiosks
and industrial control panels — not just phone screens.
Can you print our logo and pack in our retail box?
Yes. Silk-screen printing on the glass in 1–4 colours at ±0.2 mm registration, plus colour box, blister or poly
bag packaging with your artwork, barcode and manual. We work from your print-ready file, or build the artwork with
you.
How do you handle quality problems?
Three inspection points per order, AQL sampling before shipment, and a five-month exchange window for
manufacturing defects. Claims are settled from photos and batch numbers — you do not have to return the whole
shipment.
